Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents violently arrested a woman at the San Francisco International Airport on Sunday night, one day after President Trump called for ICE to help cover TSA staffing gaps. The arrest occurred during an incident that involved two plainclothes agents dragging the woman away from a boarding area at the airport. The reason for the arrest was not officially stated and the agents refused to identify themselves or show an official badge. Airport authorities surrounded the agents to protect them from harm, while a young girl traveling with her stood behind them during the arrest. The airport spokesman, Doug Yakel, insisted that the arrest had no relation to the directive and that there was no disruption to flights or passenger processing.
