Lincoln-Way District 210 has achieved the highest credit rating in its history, thanks to improvements in fiscal management and shared governance. The district has been steadily increasing its rating over the past decade. The Board of Education and administration implemented improved policies and practices, and saw an upgrade in 2019 to Baa3. In 2022, they restructured $130 million of district bonds, reducing the outstanding debt by approximately $22 million. The latest upgrade was attributed to the restructuring efforts and decreasing annual debt payments.
