Health Minister: 29% of Egyptians Suffer from Hypertension, 14% from Kidney Disease

A pharmaceutical company, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population, the World Health Organization, and the Heart Health Program in Africa, has launched a program to improve heart and kidney disease care in Egypt. The launching ceremony was attended by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health, and Dr. Mohamed Hassani. The program aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services and improve treatment outcomes for Egyptian citizens. The efforts will also aim to support early detection, develop medical personnel, and standardize operational mechanisms among various healthcare stakeholders.
