Man arrested for arson after driving exploding van into Everett Police parking lot

A 35-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly driving a van into the Everett Police Department's parking lot, which then exploded and caught fire. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for first-degree arson. Police believe the explosion was caused by the fire over-pressuring the vehicle's seals.
