Franklin Templeton's quarterly profit rises on strong inflows

Investment manager, Franklin Resources (BEN.N), has reported a significant increase in Q2 profits, largely due to strong inflows that boosted its fee income. The company's total investment management fees rose by 9% to $1.82 billion. Excluding one-time costs, the company earned $384.5 million, or 71 cents per share, compared to $254.4 million the previous year.
