Detroit radio, TV favorite Jamie Edmonds shares breast cancer diagnosis

Jamie Edmonds, co-host of WJR-AM and WDIV-TV Local 4 News, revealed her breast cancer diagnosis on the air and social media. She decided to publicly share her diagnosis to help others and has started chemotherapy at Henry Ford Health. Edmonds described her diagnosis as "a total gut punch" and the support she received from others who have gone through breast cancer. She has completed six chemotherapy treatments at the hospital.
