The team was unable to restock the mugs due to the difficulty in sourcing another order with their specialty promotional item vendor. The beer skate holds roughly 28 ounces of beer and was sold for $19 for just the item alone and costs fans $12 when purchased with liquid. The Sabres reintroduced the beer sabre for the playoffs after selling out of them during the regular season.
