The 37-year-old man who was detained in relation to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, Nancy's mother, has spoken about his innocence and stating he has nothing to do with the case. He and his mom, 77, were served search warrants during the investigation but were not arrested. Daley, who was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car while authorities searched his vehicle and home during his detainment, said he has no connection to the case and that he would happily tell the FBI or police about any wrongdoing. Despite online theories that Daley resembles the masked subject seen approaching Nancy's house, Daley does not believe these are true. The Pima County Sheriff's Department confirmed that a federal search warrant was obtained and served to Daley and that the investigation into Nancy's disappearance continues.
