U.S. officials have reportedly given Iran a 15-point peace plan that aims to end the war, despite the Pentagon sending thousands of Marines, elite paratroopers and an amphibious assault ship to the Middle East. The peace plan has not been made public, although Iranian leaders have previously stated they will end the conflict on their own terms. This comes a month into the war started by President Donald Trump and Israel, which has resulted in thousands of deaths in both countries.
