Three teenage girls are suing Elon Musk's xAI for allowing the use of its Grok chatbot to create sexual images of them, creating child sexual abuse material that spread across social media platforms. The perpetrator, who was arrested in December, allegedly compiled images and videos of over 18 girls, many of whom attended the same school, and used Grok to "undress" the minors. The lawsuit alleges that these images were shared in Telegram and Discord channels where the perpetrator traded AI-generated images for sexually explicit content of other minors. It also alleges that the victims have suffered severe emotional distress and frequent nightmares, difficulty eating and sleeping, and trouble attending school. The three plaintiffs are seeking damages for child pornography violations.
