A 20-year-old college student, Lincoln Sabini, has died after colliding with a vehicle while riding his bike near campus. The University of California, Davis confirmed that the collision occurred on Hutchison Drive near the West Village housing area. Sabini was a sophomore majoring in agriculture and worked as a laboratory aide at the university. His death is the first bicyclist fatality on campus since the May 2022 death of Trisha "Tris" Yasay. The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident is under investigation.
