'It felt surreal': Nebraska caregiver surprised with new car

The Nebraska Health Care Foundation and Chariots4Hope have partnered to introduce a program "Cars for Caregivers" aimed at helping healthcare workers who work in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. The first recipient, Samantha Gammell, was surprised with a new vehicle and said it would make a significant difference to her unreliable vehicle. The program aims to remove transportation barriers for people working in hospitals and assisted living.
