C.J. McCollum, a guard for the New York Knicks, accused Jalen Brunson of intentionally kicking him in the groin during a game against the Atlanta Hawks, has claimed that his actions were part of a "Broadway show" and that he didn't intend to intentionally kick Brunson. Officials had to review McCollom's actions after officials found he had inadvertently kicked Brunson below the belt while flailing his leg on a jump shot. The technical fouls come with a $2,500 fine and resulted in a technical foul for McCollam. Despite this, Brunson finished with a game-high 28 points, seven assists and five rebounds.
