Tesla has officially launched its Robotaxi service in Dallas and Houston, in time for its quarterly earnings. However, it appears that the service is more available as promotional materials than actual rides. According to RobotaxicTracker, there is only one vehicle available in Dallas, two in Houston, and both cities are currently classified as "service unavailable". However, some rides have reportedly occurred within limited periods. The company seems less interested in offering rides at scale and is more focused on highlighting its expansion ahead of its Q4 2025 earnings. An analyst at Morgan Stanley suggested that the expansion represents "tangible progress" for the company's operations.
