Tommy Milani, owner of Sub Delicious in Lockport, N.Y., opened his restaurant on his day off to fulfill a dying man's last wish, Frank Ozimek, who spent six weeks at Niagara Hospice before his death. His brother, Ken, asked for a meal for the nurses on Easter Sunday, but all local restaurants were closed for the holiday. Milani agreed to open his restaurant and send pizzas to the entire nursing staff at the hospital. He hopes this act of kindness will inspire others to spread joy and kindness.
