Steven Dodson Jr., a 21-year-old Florida man, is accused of fatally shooting a 2-year old boy in the head as his mother held him during an argument over a phone. The witness reported that Dodson followed the mother into the apartment and then opened fire, striking the boy in mid-air. Dodson was arrested after a manhunt and has been charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder, child neglect, tampering with evidence, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His next court date is set for April 15.
