The Grammy winner described Antonoff as a collaborator of hers and one of her best friends. She also highlighted their love for the "rant bridge" approach to create intense emotions in songs. Antonoff was also present to help Swift re-record her studio albums after former music executive Scooter Braun acquired her masters in 2019. However, Swift did not collaborate with him for her 2025 album, which she previously hinted would be different from her previous albums.
