Christopher Atkinson, a 34-year-old Salem man, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for a fatal DUI accident that resulted in the death of a teenage girl. The accident occurred when Atkinson was driving with four other passengers aged between 12 and 16. He admitted to giving them alcohol and marijuana and was driving nearly 100 mph. Additionally, he reportedly engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with the girl while under the influence of alcohol.
