U2 has released a six-song spiritual EP, Easter Lily, six weeks after the release of their EP Days of Ash. The EP, which is not political, focuses on spiritual matters, friendship, loss, and hope. The band's lead vocalist, Bono, stated that they are still working towards a noisy, messy, ‘unreasonably colourful’ album to play live. The songs include "Song For Hal” a tribute to Hal Wilner, “Scars” about self-acceptance and owning the scars accumulated over the years, and “Resurrection Song” by Edge. The album is currently available on YouTube and streaming platforms.
