‘Not Perfect, But It’s France’: Trump Uses French Reporter’s Question To Jab At Macron

President Donald Trump responded to a question from a French reporter, stating that he had been in contact with French President Emmanuel Macron about plans to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and allow oil tankers and other ships to pass. Despite the reporter's question, Trump responded by saying that France's President was an "8" on a scale from zero to ten. He also stated that he was confident that France would assist in the reopening of the Strait. The president also commented on the controversy surrounding the United Kingdom's reluctance to send ships to the UK, stating they are our oldest ally and that they spend a lot of money on NATO.
