Injured Riverfront Live shooting suspect wants released from jail

Derrick Long, the suspect in the shooting at Riverfront Live, is seeking to be released from the Butler County Jail due to his injuries. His attorney, Clyde Bennett, stated that Long is not receiving his medication, is suffering from infections and not receiving proper care. Long was shot five times in the incident on March 1 and is accused of being shot by Franeek Cobb. Both men are facing federal gun charges.
