Two teenage boys from Western Australia have been charged with animal cruelty for allegedly forcing a black swan to inhale vape fumes. The alleged abuse was captured in a video filmed by the boys while they were traveling in an inflatable boat in Mandurah, WA. The boys allegedly put the vape into the swan's beak and forced the animal to inhal it, before slapping it on the head. They also shared the video online. The two boys have been accused of causing an animal unnecessary harm, an animal cruelty offense. They appeared in the Children’s Court in Mandoorah joined by their parents and extended family. One of the boys pleaded guilty to the charge and wrote an apology letter, while the other has not yet entered a plea.
