The alleged winner of Taylor Frankie Paul's season of The Bachelorette, Mason, has spoken out following ABC canceling the show due to a resurfaced video showing Paul repeatedly attacking her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. The footage, which was shared by TMZ, showed Paul hitting and kicking Mortensen, before throwing multiple metal bar stools at him. Paul was arrested at the time of the incident and initially charged with assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child, but later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in August 2025. Draper City Police confirmed this week that an investigation regarding domestic assault involving both Paul and Mortensen had been opened.
