Former IDF chief of staff, Gadi Eisenkot, has called for decisive action against Hezbollah and warned Israel to act quickly to secure the north of the country. He visited the northern border with residents who believe in the Dahiya doctrine, which he believes falls short of Israel's goals in Gaza and Lebanon. He also highlighted his personal experiences with the people of Kibbutz Yiftah, where he was introduced as a key figure in Israeli leadership. Eisenkots believes that Israel needs to act fast to secure its north and prevent Iran from developing a nuclear program in Iran. He does not see a scenario of a ground invasion of Iran and criticized the previous war for not realizing the objectives of the multi-front war.
