An individual suspected of participating in the kidnapping of Ledger co-founder David Balland in France has been arrested in Spain. The individual is believed to be the final remaining perpetrator from the January 2025 attack. All other members of the criminal organization have been identified and arrested. The kidnapping occurred when Balland and his wife were held captive for around 24 hours with ransom demands of 10 million Euros worth of crypto. The arrest was facilitated with the use of a large police presence due to their dangerousness and potential threats to release them.
