Gonzales teenager sentenced to 60 years in connection with 2022 deadly shooting

A Gonzales teenager, 18-year-old Javelon Pindexter, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for the fatal shooting of 17-year old Mekhi Darville in 2022. Pindexer was 16 years old and was prosecuted as an adult. The plea agreement was reached after he pleaded guilty to manslaughter and obstruction of justice.
