The Artemis II astronauts have completed a final course correction before noon to prepare for their 5:07 p.m. splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off San Diego. The spacecraft's rockets fired at 11:53 a.m., enabling it to make precise adjustments to stay on its targeted course home and re-enter the atmosphere five hours later. This is the first crewed trip to the Moon in over 50 years. The landing will be live on the free NASA+ streaming service, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix, HBO Max, Discovery+, Peacock and Roku. The astronauts will be transported to the USS John P. Murtha, an amphibious transport dock ship from Naval Base San Diego, before being transported to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.
