East Boston man arrested, accused of selling fake sports tickets

Robert Cheevers, a 57-year-old man from East Boston, has been arrested for allegedly selling fake sports tickets. The charges stem from several complaints that he has stolen money from several individuals and offered fraudulent tickets to sports events at a cheaper price. Additionally, he is being held on an outstanding warrant from Newburyport District and a warrant out of Clark County, Nevada for burglary.
