FilmGate Festival brings tech-savvy tools like AI to interactive storytelling for 5-day event across Miami

The 12th annual Filmgate Interactive Festival in Miami is set to take place this week, bringing together filmmakers, artists, and tech innovators for a 5-day event that explores the best in interactive storytelling. The event, which aims to showcase the use of tools like AI to enhance storytelling, aims to show how technology is reshaping the way stories are told. The opening night of the festival begins at the Frost Science Planetarium in downtown Miami with two original projects co-created with Taiwan and a local project in a space with 230 people experiencing it together. Other events include an interactive tech playground on Lincoln Road at 420 Lincoln. The festival will also feature projects on a hundred-foot wall augmented by escape ai, a platform like the Netflix of AI films, and a video by OpenArt.
