The Asbury Park Wheel, a 78-foot-tall ferris wheel that was a fixture of Asburys Park, N.J. for nearly a century, has been reintroduced in its original home of Pennsylvania. The Schuylkill River Heritage Center at Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, acquired the wheel's original components in 2008 and began a $2.2 million effort to re-installate the wheel. The wheel will initially be used as an art installation but may possibly operate as a ride again.
