A new Basquiat exhibit is opening in Miami this summer

The Pérez Art Museum Miami has announced a major new exhibit featuring Jean-Michel Basquiat, featuring some of the artist's most recognizable works. The exhibition, which will open on June 25, will be presented from the Kenneth C. Griffin Collection and includes nine paintings and one sculpture. The exhibit will explore Basquat's themes and use of color, form and composition, with a rare video component featuring Basquati himself.
