House and Senate Democrats are in preliminary discussions to coordinate congressional investigations into companies, colleges, and law firms that cooperated with President Trump. The discussions indicate a growing confidence in the party's ability to use the investigative power of committees, including subpoenas, in order to gain control of the House. Sens. Adam Schiff, Sheldon Whitehouse, and Richard Blumenthal from the Senate Judiciary Committee are involved in the discussions.
