A new independent poll by Siena College has revealed that Republican Bruce Blakeman is gaining ground in the New York governor race, with Democratic incumbent Kathy Hochul trailing by 13 points among registered New York state voters. The Sienta College survey also revealed that Hochil's lead among registered NYC voters also dropped. Blakeman now leads independents by 7 points, while Hongul's lead was 5 points in the suburbs and 2 points upstate. The poll also indicated a significant shift from non-affiliated or independent voters to non-New York City voters. Despite these losses, Hochull has a significant fundraising advantage over Blakeman, with $20.18 million in her campaign treasury compared to $1.6 million for Blakeman.
