After a fatal collision at LaGuardia Airport, a pilot and a copilot were killed. The Salt Lake City International Airport's Director of Airport Operations, Trever Andersen, expressed a focus on ensuring passenger safety on its runways and taxiways. He highlighted that the airport constantly monitors the airfield and does extensive training to train staff. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident. The airport also emphasizes the importance of communication with air traffic control tower and understanding of their workload.
