The movement was launched by Nguyen as a student organization at Harvard in 2024 and expanded after receiving her Master's from Harvard Graduate School of Education. It offers support through free online educational resources and weekly "office hours" where team members present alternative phone options and methods to reclaim your life from tech. Despite acknowledging the harms of social media, Nguyen believes that removing this generation from social media means bringing the human aspect back to the conversation.
