Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to former prime ministers Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid's announcement that they would form a joint list for the 2026 Knesset elections by posting an inflammatory video to his personal X/Twitter account. The video shows Netanyahu and Lapid signing a coalition agreement with Mansour Abbas, leader of the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Ra'am (United Arab List). Other parties in the Netanyahu-led coalition and opposition also reacted positively to the announcement. Yashar! leader Gadi Eisenkot said that the goal of winning the critical elections before us is a shared goal. Meanwhile, Blue and White chair Benny Gantz congratulated Bennett, calling for a "broad Zionist unity government" that will isolate extremists and advance Israel forward.
