2,400 equipped ambulance vehicles deployed amid bad weather

Egyptian Ambulance Authority Chairman, Dr. Amr Rashid, has announced a state of maximum alert for the Authority, deploying 2,400 ambulances equipped as intensive care units across the country. He also announced the deployment of a fleet of 48 four-wheel-drive ambulances to secure desert governorates, including the Red Sea, Suez, Matrouh, South Sinai, and New Valley. Rashid also revealed that over 1,700 ambulance stations and outposts, equipped with radios, have been deployed across Egypt's main roads and highways. The Authority has identified 300 flood channels and low-lying areas in several governorates and has strengthened communication with the Ministry of Interior through direct wireless communication devices. The Crisis and Major Disaster Management Room will be extended to include the 25th and 26th of this month.
