Atlanta airport expects more than 8.3 million passengers in April

The world's busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, expects over 8.3 million passengers to travel in April, with Friday, April 3 predicted to be one of its busiest days ever recorded. The airport is also expecting 115,000 security screenings, surpassing the previous record set in May 2024. Despite improved security wait times, the airport is urging passengers to arrive at least 2.5 hours before their flights.
