Capital murder charge filed in 1990 ‘Lovers’ Lane’ cold case nearly 36 years later

A 64-year-old man has been charged with capital murder in connection to the 1990 killings of Cheryl Henry, 21, and Andy Atkinson, which remained unsolved for nearly a decade. The arrest was made in Nebraska. Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are working to address additional questions regarding the case.
