The Richard A. Harper Memorial at Albuquerque Academy, one of track and field's elite regular-season meets, will be held at the Harper. All 13 Albuquerque Public Schools programs will be present, along with some of the state’s best teams from outside APS. The metro tennis championship has been revamped, with a team-only format and six pools of three winners advancing to the championship bracket. The top two ranked teams have byes on Thursday, while the other four are in action on campus sites. The Albuquerque Metro Championships in tennis and golf are also set to begin. The teams competing in metro golf are from Albuquerque High, Academy, Atrisco Heritage, Del Norte, Eldorado, Hope Christian, Sandia Prep, and Volcano Vista.
