Podiatrist Gets Prison, This Time For Tampering With Evidence In Second Murder-For-Hire Plot Against Wife: DA

Ira Bernstein, a former podiatrist, has been sentenced to one-and-a-half to three years in prison for tampering with physical evidence in connection with a second murder-for-hire plot against his wife. The sentence is expected to be released in July 2021. The Rockland County District Attorney hopes this will send out a message that domestic violence is not tolerated.
