David Clark, a former member of the Dave Clark Company, has been instrumental in designing innovative knittings and outfitting astronauts for space travel. The company, which manufactures undergarements for women and men, has also been working with NASA to produce the SUits for astronauts. Clark's work includes creating an EMERGENCY PRESSURE SUits designed for astronauts and creating girdles for the GEMINI program in a building in Worcester, Massachusetts. The SUits are designed to help astronauts reach higher levels of exploration and are used to inflate the blood from their bodies during high-speed journeys.
