APD Victim Services to Provide Free EMDR Training to Local Counselors

The Department of Public Safety (PS) is offering free EMDR training to local mental health counselors in exchange for completing the required pro-benevolence sessions within three years. The training will involve 50 pro-denial sessions for individuals referred to by APD staff. The cost of the training is not included in the initiative. The application is open to individuals with extensive knowledge of the program.
