Waymo, a fully autonomous vehicle company, has expanded its service in the Alamo City to include flights to and from the San Antonio International Airport. The company is the first fully autonomous ride service to provide airport transportation in Texas. The launch is part of a broader expansion, with Waymo also welcoming public riders into its fully-autonomous ride-hailing service in Dallas, Houston, and Orlando. The service covers more than 60 square miles in San Antonio and is now being dispatched in 10 major U.S. markets.
