A First Alert is in place for Saturday evening as a weak disturbance moves through the region, bringing potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms. While most areas will remain dry, there is enough instability in the atmosphere to allow one or two storms to become strong to severe. The best chance for a stronger storm will be across the late afternoon through the evening of Saturday. Outside of the storm chance, temperatures will continue to rise, with highs expected to reach the mid-80s by Sunday, close to record levels for this time of year.
