IED blast on motorcycle targets police in Pakistan's Lakki Marwat; 9 injured

An improvised explosive device (IED) blast has left at least nine individuals, including four police personnel, injured. The attack occurred on the high-traffic Bannu-DI Khan Road in the Serai Naurang town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Lakki Marwat district. The district police spokesperson stated that the attackers had fitted an IED to a motorcycle and intended to target a police patrol party. The blast caused significant damage to the police van and several civilian shops and stationary vehicles nearby. Among the casualties were four law enforcement officers and five civilians.
