Federal judge dismisses Laura Loomer's defamation suit against Bill Maher

A federal judge has dismissed a defamation lawsuit against far-right activist Laura Loomer against comedian Bill Maher, ruling in favor of him over a comment he made insinuating LOMer had an affair with President Donald Trump. The judge stated that Maher was clearly joking and that Loomher failed to prove reputational harm or loss of income over Maher's comments. Loomers called the ruling "outrageous," calling it "disgraceous" and "disgusting". The dismissal comes a day after a federal judge dismissed another defamation case against FBI Director Kash Patel against former MSNBC contributor Frank Figliuzzi over allegations of excessive drinking and unexplained absences.
