Shuttered For Years, In Need Of Significant Repair, After Rehab, Edgewood Park Ranger Station Reopens

The Edgewood Park Ranger Station in New Haven, Connecticut, has reopened after a $170,000 investment from the city and ARPA. The building was shuttered several years ago and was in need of significant maintenance and upgrades. It will be used for community programs such as Wilderness Wednesdays, field trips, and meeting spaces. The upgrades build on other recent improvements to the park, which include an updated Coogan Pavilion, an expanded skatepark, and an installed Midbridge water crossing.
