Berkshire Hathaway CEO Greg Abel has spoken with CNBC's Becky Quick on "Squawk Box" about his first annual meeting as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. Abel will be giving a one-hour business update and Q&A session with shareholders, which will include Vice Chairman of insurance Ajit Jain, President of consumer products, service and retailing Adam Johnson, CEO of NetJets, and BNSF CEO Katie Farmer. Abel also discussed the firm's $300 billion stock portfolio and future uses of the company's nearly $400 billion cash pile. He expressed concerns about inflation, which he believes is manageable for the American consumer business, but potentially increasing. He also mentioned the stability of his portfolio and potential opportunities to deploy some of the firm’s almost $400bn cash.
