Los Lunas police are searching for 25-year-old Nicholas Gurule, who they believe is armed and dangerous, after a shooting occurred near Main Street NE and New Mexico Highway 47. The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head and is expected to recover. During the investigation, police arrested one suspect on felony charges including tampering with evidence, conspiracy to commit shooting at or from a motor vehicle, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police have warned the public not to approach Gurule.
